Cookie policy

Lokaris uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your privacy choice. Optional analytics will remain off unless you actively accept it.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar browser storage, such as localStorage, can remember a preference without sending it on every request. Some storage is necessary for a service you request; optional analytics requires your consent.

2. Strictly necessary preference storage

We store lokaris_cookie_consent_v1 in localStorage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. It contains the consent version, your analytics choice and the time of the choice. It is not used for advertising or behaviour profiling and does not expire automatically; it remains until you clear it or a future consent version replaces it.

3. Optional Google Analytics

If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, the Google tag loads only after you accept analytics. Before consent, no Google Analytics script or request is initiated by this implementation. We keep advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad-user-data signals disabled.

After consent, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish visits and produce aggregate usage reports. Their exact duration depends on the configured Analytics property and Google’s current service settings.

4. Change or withdraw your choice

Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics at any time. Rejecting after acceptance updates the consent state, removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page so the tag is no longer active. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.

5. Providers and transfers

The necessary preference is stored locally in your browser. If you accept analytics and Analytics is configured, Google acts as the analytics provider and may process data outside the EEA subject to its applicable contractual and transfer safeguards. See our Privacy policy for more information about providers, legal bases and your rights.

6. Updates

We will update this policy if the storage we use, analytics configuration or applicable requirements change. A material change may cause the consent banner to appear again so you can make a new choice.
